The SM12CXTW model boasts the powerful 12CXT60—a 250-watt loudspeaker integrating a 12-inch low-frequency transducer with a 1-inch exit compression driver for superior audio performance.
Featuring a curvilinear, treated-paper cone, this speaker minimizes harmonic distortion, while the built-in crossover network ensures seamless frequency transition between the transducers. Both the low-frequency transducer and high-frequency driver are designed with permanently aligned voice coils to deliver low-distortion sound, utilizing copper coils with Polyimide voice coil formers for enhanced durability.
The SM12CXT-B variant comes with a robust wood enclosure and a protective metal grille, including versatile hardware with multiple (12) 1/4″-20 inserts for flexible overhead suspension in various orientations. With a 90-degree conical dispersion pattern (2 kHz octave band) and notable efficiency, the SM12CXT-B is ideal for diverse audio applications, including school auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeterias, church sanctuaries, and more within the sound system industry.
