The environment-resistant UL1480-certified loudspeaker systems from the SM Series deliver superior audio performance and modern aesthetics in a compact design. These professional sound solutions feature a highly efficient woofer section combined with a ferrofluid-cooled, titanium dome high-frequency driver. The AtlasIED TRX Control WaveGuide™ provides precise vocal and musical clarity through its innovative design, ensuring smooth and uniform sound coverage. This high-frequency director is symmetrically engineered for consistent audio dispersal whether the speaker is mounted vertically or horizontally. The AtlasIED PolyGuard™ protection circuit enhances high-frequency component durability. Built to endure the toughest conditions, the Strategy Series SM82TUC surface mount speakers feature weather-resistant construction—utilizing UV-resistant, fiberglass-filled polycarbonate/ABS injection-molded cabinets, HYCONE-treated paper woofer cones, and powder-coated aluminum grilles coupled with all-brass hardware.
Installation flexibility is offered through a versatile C-bracket allowing for straightforward vertical or horizontal mounting on almost any surface. Additionally, a 15mm (0.59″) hole in the C-bracket enables mounting on any AtlasIED microphone stand for nearfield live sound. The rear of the SM82TUC-B and SM82TUC-WH models includes four 4¼” x 2″ (108mm x 51mm) OC brass inserts to support OMNIMOUNT™ 30 series brackets, with OMNIMOUNT 30.0 WB being ideal for wall installation.
All mounting inserts use standard ¼”-20 sizing to enable easy substitution for vandal-proof torx head or “one-way” hardware. Input connectors include a two-pole barrier strip with wire capture “caps” that accommodate up to two #16AWG cables. The system offers 1.9, 3.7, 7.5, 15, 30, and 60 Watt taps, which can be selected via a screwdriver-adjustable sealed switch on the cabinet’s rear. A ½ conduit-ready, tongue-in-groove cover safeguards the input connections and transformer switch assembly from moisture exposure. Available in black or white, these systems can be painted to match any architectural design.
