The SM Series loudspeakers deliver exceptional audio performance and modern aesthetics. The SM8CXT-W model is equipped with a 150-watt loudspeaker featuring an 8-inch low-frequency transducer and a 1-inch exit compression driver. It incorporates a curvilinear polypropylene cone to minimize harmonic distortion and includes a built-in crossover network for seamless frequency transition between the components. Both the low-frequency transducer and the high-frequency driver are designed with permanently aligned voice coils, ensuring low-distortion sound output, and utilize copper coils with Polyimide formers.
The SM8CXT-W boasts a durable wood enclosure and a metal grille, and it comes with internal mounting hardware, including twelve 1/4″-20 inserts, allowing for flexible overhead suspension in various orientations. With a 90-degree conical dispersion pattern (2 kHz octave band) and exceptional efficiency, the SM8CXT-W is an ideal solution for a wide range of environments such as school auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeterias, church sanctuary systems, and more.
