The Bose Professional ShowMatch SMS118 subwoofers are specifically engineered for seamless integration with DeltaQ array loudspeakers, enhancing their low-frequency response to reach down to 29 Hz. The SMS118’s enclosure width and built-in rigging are optimized for quick incorporation into arrays, alongside ShowMatch full-range modules, using optional array frames and accessories. The portable-rated Baltic birch cabinet is also suitable for ground-stack setups and is equipped with an integrated mounting-pole adapter, making it versatile for pairing with other mid/high loudspeakers.

DeltaQ technology represents a cutting-edge array design, enabling the directivity (“Q”) to be adjusted for each module within the array. This innovation ensures more consistent coverage across a broad frequency range, reduces array weight and cost, and delivers exceptional vocal clarity. Arrays can cover significant vertical angles with fewer modules.
The ShowMatch DeltaQ series includes a companion 1x 18″ subwoofer for extending low-frequency response to 29 Hz, allowing for mixed mid/high and subwoofer configurations within ShowMatch arrays.
Featuring the Bose LF18 neodymium 18-inch high-excursion transducer with a 4.5-inch voice coil, the subwoofer promises maximum performance, utilizing the same transducer as the Bose RMS218.
Integrated 4-point “quick pin” rigging supports arrays of up to 18 subwoofers with a 10:1 safety factor.
With both front-grill mounted NL4 input and rear NL4 inputs, the design facilitates easy setup for “reversed box” cardioid arrays.
