**General Description:**
The Electro-Voice EVF-2151D is a high-performance bass component designed for a variety of professional audio applications requiring exceptional sound reinforcement in a lightweight design.
Featuring dual DVX3159A 15″ woofers, the loudspeaker leverages finite element analysis (FEA) optimization for its motor, suspension, and electrical design. This ensures minimal distortion and optimal intelligibility at high SPL levels.
The EVF-2151D is engineered as a top-tier loudspeaker for fixed installations. Its trapezoidal enclosure is crafted from weather-resistant birch and protected with EVCoat™ to withstand environmental elements. For superior resilience in extreme conditions, a fully weatherized fiberglass version is available. The unique acoustic and rigging design facilitates the formation of vertical and horizontal clusters using any combination of loudspeakers from the EVF and EVH series. With an array of full-range, low-frequency, and subwoofer options, the system offers maximum flexibility for system design, addressing diverse applications and budgets. The innovative input panel comes with a Phoenix-style connector as standard, with the option to add a dual NL4-type connector cover or gland-nut cover for weatherproofing needs. It includes an externally accessible jumper for selecting passive or active modes. Additionally, an optional 70.7/100-V transformer kit can be easily installed on the input panel for distributed systems use. These features enable adaptable solutions for a wide range of venues, effectively and efficiently meeting customer requirements with minimal inventory.
