The Bose ControlSpace CC-64 control center is a sophisticated, programmable, networked controller that provides users with an intuitive interface for managing their audio systems when integrated with ControlSpace ESP processors or network-ready PowerMatch® amplifiers. With its fully programmable capabilities, the sound system can be customized to offer specific controls, enhancing user interaction and simplifying complexity.
The CC-64 features four rotary encoders with surrounding LED indicators for an intuitive way to adjust gain settings or select scenes. An additional, fifth encoder is designated for controlling preset “scenes” or configurations. Four bank switch buttons enable redefinition of the Gain/Selector knobs, offering quick access to up to 16 different system gain settings or selections. A large, dual-line, 40-character backlit LCD screen provides users with clear identification of the system components they are managing.
In terms of product specifications, the CC-64 offers four rotary encoders with LED arrays for straightforward gain management and scene selection. A fifth encoder manages programmed parameter sets or scenes, with each gain control knob capable of managing single or grouped gain blocks. Groups can span elements across multiple ControlSpace ESP-88 processors.
The integration of rotary encoders and an LED display ensures real-time tracking of changes within the system. The large backlit LCD clearly displays the names of controlled system components. Through personalized programming, the CC-64 can handle various system elements such as audio sources, scene selections, and specific configurations.
Additionally, the CC-64 includes a “custom mode” for installers, allowing any system parameter to be reviewed and adjusted via the LCD display and control knobs. Programming of the CC-64, including linking signal processing objects to controls, is conducted through the ControlSpace Designer software. This software provides features to simplify programming, such as Smart Simulation, which includes a virtual CC-64 display for on-screen verification of programming without the need for hardware connection.
