Description
The AMX DCE-1 In-Line Controller integrates advanced features such as CEC control, EDID emulation, and audio extraction into a single, economical solution. This versatile in-line controller supports EDID emulation for resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 and includes HDCP 2.2 compatibility, ensuring seamless integration with the latest displays and source devices. AV integrators can choose to copy the EDID from the output or select from one of 15 pre-configured EDID profiles.
The device offers a fixed EDID to the source to ensure consistent and accurate video output at the desired resolution for various displays. The DCE-1 also provides audio de-embedding capabilities, featuring both digital SPDIF and analog audio outputs. For simplified display management, the DCE-1 can control displays, turning them on or off, using either CEC or RS232 commands whenever a source device is connected or disconnected.
