Specifically, the Z2-B model stands out with its 2-zone, 60-watt setup, perfectly suited for businesses needing sound masking, paging, and background music (BGM). It offers 2-zones of 70V output and operates in diverse configuration modes: dual-zone indirect field sound masking (covering up to 7000 square feet), single-zone direct field sound masking, or one zone dedicated to indirect sound masking and the other for paging and BGM. This unit boasts versatile mounting options, including in-wall, surface mount, or rack mount, and keeps all hardware and wiring securely behind the front panel, facilitating centralized wiring organization without requiring an additional cabinet. The front panel display supports system programming and user control after installation, while the unit comes preconfigured with sound masking filter presets crafted by renowned expert Dr. Bob Chanaud. These presets, which can be customized using the included PC project design software, are also accessible via a USB port on the front panel. For conference rooms demanding secure speech privacy, the Z2-B includes a Speech Privacy Enhancement mode that boosts acoustical energy to enhance privacy during meetings. With over forty years of expertise in developing, manufacturing, and commissioning sound masking systems, AtlasIED employs proprietary Chanaud masking filters approved for use in numerous installations worldwide, including military and government facilities. The Speech Privacy Enhancement feature can be activated via a hardwired switch, iOS or Android app, or an optional wireless desktop/wall mount switch, complemented by an optional wired or wireless sign to alert attendees when the feature is active. Key features include a 2-zone, 30-watt 70.7V/100V output, integrated analog noise generators, selectable Mic/Line input for paging or recorded messaging, 3.5mm stereo summed auxiliary input for BGM, Bluetooth streaming for background music, enhanced privacy mode with optional associate sign, preconfigured sound masking system presets, VOX priority muting for paging and background audio, and independent level controls per zone for Mic/Line, Aux, and Bluetooth inputs.
