The Z4-B model is specifically designed for sound masking, paging, and background music (BGM) needs across diverse business environments, featuring a 4-zone, 120-watt configuration. It provides 70V output across four zones and supports various configuration modes: four-zone indirect field sound masking (up to 14,000 square feet), dual zones of direct field sound masking, or a hybrid of indirect sound masking with BGM zones. Versatile mounting options include in-wall, surface, or rack mounting, and once installed, all hardware and wiring are securely located behind the front panel, allowing integrators to centralize wiring without needing additional cabinets. The front panel display facilitates system programming and user control post-installation. Preloaded with multiple sound masking filter presets crafted by renowned sound masking expert Dr. Bob Chanaud, the unit allows users to select settings that align with specific installation types. Custom presets, configurable through the included PC design software, can be uploaded via the front panel USB port. For conference room environments demanding secure speech privacy, the Z4-B offers a Speech Privacy Enhancement mode, amplifying acoustical energy when meetings occur to ensure increased privacy for participants. AtlasIED, with over four decades of experience in developing and manufacturing sound masking systems, utilizes proprietary Chanaud masking filters. These patented filters are trusted and employed globally across military and government installations. Speech Privacy Enhancement can be activated via a hardwired switch, mobile application (iOS or Android), or an optional wireless desktop or wall mount switch. An optional wired or wireless sign provides a visual indicator when Speech Privacy Enhancement is active.
