Description
The AM1200 Sound Masking System offers exceptional versatility for small-scale sound masking projects. This system includes a self-contained audio solution with two efficient wide-range 2″ x 4″ speakers arranged in a horizontal array, powered by an internal 12W Class D amplifier. The system provides a 70.7V output for powering remote masking speakers and features separate level controls for both types of speakers. Users can select between Pink and White noise analog generators, and the system includes a Hi-Cut filter to optimize sound quality.
Designed for easy installation, the cabinet is only 2½” high, making it suitable for placement in tight spaces such as small ceiling plenums or beneath shallow raised floors. The system offers flexible installation options with two mounting supports for suspension in higher ceiling plenums and four mounting holes for surface attachment. It is powered by an external, UL-rated 24VDC power supply and is both UL2043 listed, suitable for use in air-handling spaces, and UL60065 listed for safety in audio, video, and similar electronic apparatus environments.
