Description
The AtlasIED TSD-GPN1200 is an ideal sound masking generator for foundational sound masking systems. Its robust analog topology design avoids the repetitive cycles often seen in low-cost digital options from other manufacturers. The TSD-GPN1200 features selection capabilities for either pink or white noise sources and offers a variable balanced output that adapts to the input requirements of sound masking equalizers and amplifiers. This sound masking generator includes a 4W, 70V output to power up to six masking speakers with .5W taps each, in addition to the line-level output. A variable hi-cut filter, operating between 1kHz and 8kHz at a 6dB per octave slope, supports the equalization needs for most basic sound masking installations. Both outputs are functional simultaneously, allowing for larger zones to be managed with external equalization and amplification, while smaller zones can be serviced by the internal 70V amplifier with onboard spectrum control via the hi-cut filter. A separate power supply is required for operation; multiple units can be powered with a single supply based on their collective current requirements. This unit draws 250mA, ensuring compatibility with any available TSD power supply, and for applications involving multiple units, the TSD Power Calculator helps determine the appropriate power supply. Key features include a balanced line and 4W, 70V output, adjustable gain, hi-cut filter EQ with gain bypass for line output, selectable pink or white noise sources, standalone or rack-mountable configuration options, and security covers for all rear panel controls. The power supply is sold separately.
