The annual IPSEM maintenance subscription license is essential for each IP endpoint utilizing GCK software in any deployment. This license ensures access to firmware and software updates, along with new feature releases. Endpoints not covered by maintenance will remain locked in their last configuration when the coverage was active, preventing updates or modifications. Each IP endpoint mandates the purchase of one IPSEM license. For instance, acquiring 5 IP-SM devices necessitates 5 corresponding IPSEM licenses. If utilizing control software such as InformaCast, SA-Announce, or when registering an endpoint as a SIP device, a license fee will be required from the software provider for each endpoint.
