AMX SVSI N2000 Series employs JPEG2000 compression technology to deliver high-definition, cinema-grade video distribution over LAN, catering to scenarios where video quality is paramount. The NMX-DEC-N2222A Decoder converts video streams to DVI or HDMI format, facilitating display on any monitor. When paired with the NMX-ENC-N2122A Encoder, it encodes and disseminates video sources of nearly any format across an existing IP network, making the stream accessible at any endpoint within the facility. This capability allows any source stream to be directed to any display, simplifying the deployment of expansive, cost-effective video switching and distribution systems without relying on proprietary cabling or dedicated switching hardware.
The NMX-DEC-N2222A includes a Local Play feature, permitting users to upload and save up to 8 playlists comprising up to 64 JPEG or PNG files, which are displayed when the video stream is interrupted to prevent blank screens.
Key technical features include support for IR, serial, balanced audio, AES67, and two network ports (one with PoE). It provides only digital video output.
