RadioRA 2 CL Hybrid Keypads offer a dual function, serving both as a dimmer and a keypad within a single lighting control solution. They are particularly beneficial for retrofit lighting applications, eliminating the need to install two separate control devices. These neutral-wire keypads are compatible with small electrical loads, including screw-in CFL/LED light bulbs. They maintain normal functionality even if the connected bulb is absent or non-functional.
As part of a comprehensive lighting control system, the CL Hybrid Keypads support advanced lighting features like fade in/fade out and instant full brightness. Designed with usability in mind, they feature large buttons and a backlit engraving option for clear visibility at any time, day or night. The keypad buttons are rounded, presenting engraving at an upward angle for enhanced readability. Additionally, they are equipped with a Front Accessible Service Switch (FASS) for safe lamp replacement.
These keypads are compatible solely with Lutron Designer wallplates, available in Claro or Satin Colors. The keypad’s mechanical design supports only Lutron wallplates, not those from other manufacturers. Wallplates must be purchased separately and are designed to easily snap on without visible attachment. For personalized setups, Replacement Button Kits come in various colors and feature custom engraving options to distinctly label each button’s function.
CL Hybrid Keypads are intended for use with permanently installed light sources, such as incandescent, tungsten halogen, CFL/LED, magnetic low-voltage, or Lutron Hi-lume A-Series LTE LED drivers exclusively.
