VxPro is available as custom hardware solutions or software integrations, supporting your existing video management infrastructure. It offers tailored throughput options and flexible storage configurations, including RAID 6, RAID 5, and JBOD, addressing needs for data retention, redundancy, and fault tolerance. Software licenses are channel-based, allowing you to pay only for what you need. The system seamlessly adapts to unicast and multicast network transmission modes, aligning with your network architecture.
The server models incorporate Dell’s iDRAC (integrated Dell Remote Access Controller) and support Dell’s OpenManage tools, enabling remote server configuration and support, minimizing direct physical server access requirements. With the iDRAC controller, hardware monitoring and SNMP email alert notifications are viable.
Equipped with VxToolbox, a user-friendly Windows application, VxPro facilitates quick and easy configuration of server and camera networks either locally or remotely. It features pre-defined roles customized for standard surveillance operations, simplifying user creation and assignments.
The VxOpsCenter client software offers an intuitive interface that simplifies VideoXpert operations, requiring minimal training. It supports multi-system access mode, enabling a single workstation to manage multiple servers and scale your surveillance infrastructure. VxOpsCenter’s modular plugins allow integration with external systems, offering features like informational overlays, license plate recognition (LPR), analytics, and an integrated mapping tool.
Built on open standards, VideoXpert provides a comprehensive application programming interface (API), software development kit (SDK), and dedicated technical support, facilitating third-party system integrations to enhance its capabilities.
Administrators can transition existing Digital Sentry hardware environments to VideoXpert Professional, repurposing existing infrastructure while gaining access to VideoXpert’s advanced benefits. Additionally, Digital Sentry storage hardware can be utilized as recording solutions, maintaining the integrity of stored video while leveraging VideoXpert Professional features.
