The FTV10D1 and FRV10D1 fiber optic transmitter and receiver systems, available in both multimode and single-mode variations, enable the transmission of a single unidirectional composite video channel alongside a bidirectional data channel over a single optical fiber. Utilizing advanced “up-the-coax” technology, these systems support Coaxitron® pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) control data transmission across the entire fiber span, reaching distances up to 48 km with single-mode fiber. In single-mode configuration, the FTV10D1 transmitter paired with the FRV10D1 receiver provides an impressive optical power budget of 23 dB.
The FTV10D1 and FRV10D1 models are fully compatible with each other and other fiber communication devices, with the FRV10D1 receiver offering backward compatibility with the FSV10D1 transmitter. Their plug-and-play design ensures straightforward installation without the need for electrical or optical adjustments. The modular construction of the FTV10D1 and FRV10D1 units allows for easy integration into rack systems using the EURACK or USRACK chassis, while also supporting standalone desktop or wall-mounted configurations, with no wall mount kit necessary.
For standalone and wall-mounted configurations, external power is required, which can be supplied using the recommended FEXTPS fiber optic external power supply for optimal performance.
