The Altronix HubWay8Di Passive UTP Transceiver Hub with Integral Isolated Camera Power is designed for transmitting UTP video, RS422/RS485 data, and power via a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable. This video transmission solution supports 8 camera channels within a compact 1U EIA 19″ rack mount chassis, adaptable for rack, wall, or shelf installations. It facilitates video transmission up to a maximum range of 750 ft. per channel. The hub is compatible with AC and/or DC fixed or PTZ cameras when using appropriate Video Balun/Combiners. Its features include individually selectable 24VAC or 28VAC outputs that are electronically isolated, PTC protected, and equipped with surge suppression. Additionally, the HubSat4i/4Di Passive UTP Transceiver Hub can serve as an accessory module, allowing video transmission from up to 4 cameras over a single CAT-5 or higher structured cable back to the HubWay8Di, with the HubSat4D providing local power to these cameras to prevent voltage drop during long cable runs.
