The UHO camera housings are expertly designed enclosures that facilitate the deployment of the DINION camera series in outdoor conditions or environments where additional protection is necessary. These housings accommodate power supplies of 24 VAC, 120 VAC, and 230 VAC, with compatibility for cameras operating at 12 VDC, 24 VAC, 120 VAC, and 230 VAC depending on the model. Their functionality is highlighted by easy installation features, including a hinged side-opening design that simplifies the mounting of camera and lens combinations while providing access to controls even when mounted. Power and video cabling can be efficiently managed via feed-through fittings or external 4-pin power and BNC connectors positioned at the rear. Some models offer feed-through entry holes at the base for enhanced cable management. Installation is versatile due to mounting holes at the base, suitable for various pan/tilts, adjustable heads, and camera mount brackets. The housings are constructed from aluminum and feature two integrated heaters—one for window defrosting and another for the interior—with an optional blower for additional temperature regulation. The interior heater ensures a maintained internal temperature under cold conditions, extending the lower temperature limit to -40 °C (-40 °F). The continuous operation of the window defroster heater and optional blower reduces fogging in high humidity environments. All models come equipped with sunshields for additional protection.
