**Camera System**
The ExSite® Enhanced 2 Series is a cutting-edge surveillance solution specially designed to monitor operations and control processes in hazardous environments, where the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust poses explosion risks. These robust outdoor surveillance cameras are available in fixed, compact fixed, and PTZ models, meeting stringent explosion proof and dust-ignition proof requirements, and adhere to international standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, and EACEx. Operators benefit from high-quality evidence capture thanks to features like zoom, true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), and low-light capabilities, which are crucial in challenging lighting conditions often found in hazardous areas. Built to withstand extreme environments, these cameras feature an IP69 rating for protection against water, high winds, and temperature fluctuations ranging from -40° to +60°C. With a Marine certification from Lloyd’s Register, they are also resistant to corrosive elements. The ExSite® Enhanced 2 Series offers seamless installation and adaptability to diverse operational needs, supporting a range of input power options. Standard accessories include wipers and sun shrouds, ensuring optimal video capture regardless of weather conditions. This series delivers industry-leading image quality with a Full HD 1080p camera, capable of producing up to 60 frames per second. Image defogging enhances video clarity in poor visibility, and advanced 3D noise filtering is also available.
**Video Capabilities**
ExSite® Enhanced 2 Series surveillance cameras offer versatile streaming options, with the primary stream compressible using efficient H.265, H.264 High or Main profiles, or MJPEG formats. Configuration settings allow for various frame rates and variable bit rates, optimizing image quality while ensuring efficient bandwidth and storage usage. Smart Compression can be applied to both H.264 and H.265 formats to further reduce storage and bandwidth needs.
**Open and Integrated Design**
ExSite® Enhanced 2 Series cameras integrate seamlessly with Pelco’s video management solutions like VideoXpert™, as well as with major third-party systems, utilizing ONVIF Profile S, G, and T standards for broad compatibility.
**Standard Web Interface**
These cameras feature a standard web browser interface for easy remote configuration and management. Controls are optimized for straightforward camera setup, including adjustments for color, exposure, flicker control, backlight compensation, and streaming.
**Advanced Analytics**
ExSite® Enhanced 2 Series cameras are equipped with Pelco’s advanced analytics technology, offering both basic and smart video analytics. Basic analytics include Simple Motion Detection and Camera Sabotage detection. Simple Motion Detection triggers recording or alarms when motion is detected in specified zones or throughout the entire scene, while Camera Sabotage alerts operators if the lens is blocked or the camera is repositioned.
**Pelco Smart Analytics**
Pelco Smart Analytics employs AI-driven object detection technologies to enhance accuracy in perimeter protection and crowded indoor environments. With its increased processing power, the system can track and classify over 50 objects, including when they are stationary. Classification extends beyond people and vehicles to include cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, and bicycles. The system recognizes ten different object behaviors, facilitating event creation that can be integrated with various video management systems (VMS).
