Its 10 mm to 40 mm motorized vari-focal lens ensures long-range video capture capabilities. Housed in a durable, IP67-rated enclosure, this camera is equipped with IR illumination, making it perfect for challenging environments and low-light situations. This License Plate Recognition (LPR) camera can accurately detect and recognize license plate alphanumeric characters from distances up to 25 meters (82 feet) and at vehicle speeds reaching 120 kph (75 mph).

**License Plate Recognition**
The camera leverages advanced license plate recognition technology to automatically capture vehicle license plate images and decipher plate numbers and letters. Users can conduct license plate searches during playback based on Time and Date, viewing thumbnail images of all plates captured within a specified timeframe, or input a specific plate number for targeted vehicle searches. This LPR technology provides effective solutions for entrance and exit management, traffic surveillance, and parking lot monitoring.
**High Efficiency Video Coding (H.265)**
The H.265 video compression standard significantly enhances data compression efficiency, offering double the compression ratio with equivalent video quality or notably enhanced video quality at the same bit rate compared to previous compression technologies. H.265 achieves this through extended pattern comparison and difference-coding, improved motion vector prediction and motion region merging, and an added filtering process known as sample-adaptive offset filtering.
