Description
The FLEXIDOME IP Panoramic 6000 enhances outdoor video surveillance with advanced features. Equipped with a robust 12MP sensor operating at 30 fps, this panoramic security camera captures comprehensive area coverage, high detail, and high-speed performance. It provides full situational awareness alongside simultaneous EPTZ views at high resolution.
This surveillance system comes in two versions for versatile security applications. The 360° model offers complete surround coverage, eliminating blind spots when centrally mounted on a pole or under an eave, making it ideal for comprehensive area monitoring. The 180° model, optimized for wall mounting, delivers outstanding resolution for perimeter surveillance with seamless 180º coverage.
The sophisticated dewarping technology transforms circular images into distortion-free rectangular views, enhancing integration flexibility. Users can select edge dewarping within the camera or opt for client-side dewarping on an external platform. Bosch’s Video Security Client, available at no cost, supports advanced client-side dewarping functionalities.
Key advantages of panoramic video surveillance include comprehensive 180° or 360° coverage that provides complete situational awareness, making it perfect for tracking motion continuously. These cutting-edge panoramic cameras significantly boost high-end surveillance systems, especially when integrated with Essential Video Analytics for purposes like people counting and triggering complex, rule-based alarms.
With its 12MP sensor running at 30 fps, the camera stands out in the field of panoramic image capture, ensuring smoother motion and enhanced EPTZ images. The effective resolution is 8MP for the 180° version and 7MP for the 360° version.
Essential Video Analytics enhances the Intelligence-at-the-Edge concept by reliably detecting, tracking, and analyzing movements within controlled environments, minimizing false alarms with smart alarm rules. Furthermore, the built-in MOTION+ video motion analysis system provides basic video content analysis features, indicating motion metadata and improving image quality and bitrate efficiency. It also extends tamper detection capabilities.
For client-side dewarping, the camera streams a non-dewarped circular image at 30 fps. Our dewarping software, compatible with multiple view modes, handles the dewarping on PCs, while third-party software solutions can also be utilized for dewarping.
