Digital Watchdog® (DW®), a leader in the digital recording and video surveillance industry, has launched a new line of vandal-resistant MEGApix® IP cameras. These cameras are equipped with Star-Light Plus™ technology, enabling color capture in near-total darkness, and they support H.265/H.264/MJPEG triple codec streaming. The 2.1MP/1080p models, DWC-MVA2WiAT and DWC-MVA2Wi28T, deliver exceptional image quality while maintaining performance on low-bandwidth networks.
The MEGApix® vandal ball IP cameras offer 2.1MP/1080p resolution at a real-time frame rate of 30fps. The DWC-MVA2WiAT model features a 2.7~13.5mm vari-focal auto-focus lens with motorized zoom, providing 5x optical zoom, whereas the DWC-MVA2Wi28T model includes a 2.8mm 110° wide-angle fixed lens. Both models enable simultaneous streaming of H.265/H.264/MJPEG codecs and feature advanced imaging technologies such as Star-Light Plus™ for near-total darkness color capture, true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), and 80′ Smart IR™ for superior video quality in varying light conditions. Their IP67-rated design ensures weather resistance, eliminates infrared reflections, and allows for easy angle adjustments to optimize image quality. Additionally, all MEGApix® cameras are ONVIF-conformant, ensuring seamless integration with any open platform solution in the market.
