Digital Watchdog® (DW®), a leading name in digital recorders, surveillance cameras, and management software, has announced the launch of its new line of vandal-proof MEGApix® IP cameras. These advanced surveillance cameras incorporate Star-Light Plus™ technology, enabling superior color capture even in near-total darkness, and offer support for triple codecs—H.265, H.264, and MJPEG—for simultaneous streaming.
The newly released models, the 2.1MP/1080p DWC-MVA2WiAT and DWC-MVA2Wi28T, are designed to deliver exceptional image quality even on low-bandwidth networks. The MEGApix® vandal-proof IP cameras provide high-definition 2.1MP/1080p resolution at a real-time frame rate of 30fps. The DWC-MVA2WiAT model is equipped with a 2.7~13.5mm vari-focal auto-focus lens featuring motorized zoom and 5x optical zoom. In contrast, the DWC-MVA2Wi28T offers a 2.8mm fixed lens with a wide 110° field of view. Both models support simultaneous streaming of H.265, H.264, and MJPEG codecs and are enhanced with Star-Light Plus™ technology, true WDR, and 80′ Smart IR™ to ensure quality video in varying lighting conditions.
Built for durability, the vandal-proof cameras feature an advanced weather-resistant design, are IP67-rated, and eliminate IR reflections while allowing for easy angle adjustments to ensure optimal image quality. All MEGApix® cameras are ONVIF compliant, ensuring seamless integration with any open platform solution available in the market.
