The eBridge100RM is a versatile Ethernet receiver and media converter designed for the transmission of data at 100Mbps full duplex, utilizing either Coax cable or extended CAT5e cable to deliver PoE+ compliant power. This device is powered by a PoE midspan such as those from the Altronix NetWay series or by an endspan connection. The receiver efficiently transfers PoE(+) compliant power over the cabling infrastructure to the eBridge100TM/eBridge100ST transceiver, which then distributes power to an IP-enabled device such as a camera. These plug-and-play units offer a cost-effective solution for deploying IP devices beyond the standard Ethernet limit of 100 meters, streamlining the transition from analogue to digital infrastructure using existing coaxial or structured cabling. Ideal applications include retrofitting digital IP cameras within analog CCTV setups, supporting various camera resolutions including Megapixel, HD720, HD1080, and VGA (SD). They enable network link extensions over 610 meters in industrial settings and facilitate the upgrade of existing CCTV coaxial systems to digital networks within sectors like retail, casinos, airports, schools, and hospitals.
