Description
The eBridge100ST Ethernet over Coax (EoC) transceiver delivers data at 100Mbps in Full Duplex mode through coaxial cable to a compatible eBridge receiver and supplies power in a PoE+ compliant format to powered devices or cameras. Various options for eBridge receivers are available to meet different system requirements, and these receivers are powered by an external midspan, such as the Altronix Netway series. This setup allows PoE+ power to be transmitted over the same coaxial cable to the eBridge100ST transceiver, which then powers the connected IP camera or device. These plug-and-play solutions offer a cost-effective method for integrating IP technology by leveraging existing coax infrastructure. They support installation distances of over 300 meters, providing an efficient pathway to transition from legacy analog systems to modern IP devices. The eBridge100ST transceiver is compatible with Altronix receivers, including models like eBridge100RM, eBridge400PCRM, eBridge800PCRM, and eBridge1600PCRM.
