Description

The eBridge100TM Ethernet over Coax/CAT5e Transceiver is designed for delivering full duplex data at 100Mbps and transmitting PoE-compliant power over coaxial cable up to 304 meters, or CAT5e cable as far as 500 meters without the need for repeaters. This transceiver requires compatibility with models such as the eBridge100RM, eBridge400PCRM, eBridge800PCRM, or eBridge1600PCRM receivers. These solutions, along with connected IP cameras and edge devices, can be powered by virtually any midspan or endspan. When used with an Altronix NetWay8M/16M Midspan, the system supports remote management functionalities including edge device reset, real-time current monitoring, and port status updates. Ideal applications include replacing outdated analog systems with modern IP devices over existing coaxial or CAT5e infrastructure. This transceiver supports Megapixel, HD720, HD1080, and VGA (SD) cameras, and is well-suited for extending network link distances in industrial settings. It provides a seamless upgrade path from legacy CCTV coaxial setups to a digital network across sectors such as retail, casinos, airports, schools, and hospitals.
