Description
The eBridge1CR serves as an Ethernet adapter, converting CAT5 to Coax cable. The receiver is engineered to enable rapid 10/100Base-T Ethernet digital communication over Coax cables. This plug-and-play device is ideal for upgrading systems from analog to IP cameras or other IP-enabled devices by leveraging existing Coax infrastructure, thus avoiding the expenses and labor associated with installing new network cabling. Additionally, it allows data transmission over Coax to reach distances of up to 1500 feet, which is significantly longer than the standard 100 meters (328 feet) Ethernet cable range, thereby eliminating the need for repeaters. Moreover, the unit can merge Composite Video Signals with Ethernet data, allowing connection to an analog input on monitors or matrix switches. The eBridge1CR requires pairing with a compatible eBridge1CT or any Hybrid camera/device featuring “sloc” technology.
