Description
The eBridge1CT is an innovative Ethernet adapter that converts CAT5 to Coax cable, optimizing digital communication for networked systems. This transceiver supports high-speed 10/100Base-T Ethernet transmission over Coax cable, seamlessly bridging the gap for system upgrades from analog to IP cameras and devices. By utilizing existing Coax infrastructure, it eliminates the costs and labor involved in laying new network cabling. Furthermore, it extends data transmission over Coax up to 1500 feet, significantly surpassing the standard Ethernet limit of 328 feet, thus reducing the need for repeaters. Additionally, the unit can integrate Composite Video Signal with Ethernet data, allowing connections to be made with analog inputs on monitors or matrix switches. To complete the setup, an eBridge1CR Receiver is needed for connectivity to an Ethernet switch or Network Video Recorder (NVR).
