Description
The eBridge1PCR is a CAT5 to Coax Ethernet Receiver designed for the seamless delivery of data and power over coaxial cable in a PoE-compliant setup. It transmits power over the coax to the eBridge1PCT transmitter, adhering to Power over Ethernet standards. This ensures that power is not delivered to non-compliant devices, safeguarding against potential damage to improperly connected non-PoE cameras. This user-friendly solution supports system upgrades from analog to IP cameras and devices by utilizing existing legacy coax infrastructure, thereby eliminating the costs and labor associated with installing new network cabling. Additionally, data and power transmission over coaxial cables is possible up to 1500 feet, significantly extending beyond the typical 100 meters (328 feet) Ethernet limit. The maximum range from the head end to the PoE-enabled camera or device extends up to 610 meters (2000 feet), taking into account that up to 100 meters (328 feet) of structured cabling may be deployed at each end.
