Description
The eBridge1PCRM is a single-port Ethernet over Coax (EoC) receiver, expertly designed for efficient data transmission and power delivery over coaxial cables. This advanced device transmits PoE/PoE+ through the coax to an eBridge1PCT or eBridge1PCTX transceiver, which then supplies PoE-compliant power to edge devices such as IP cameras. This plug-and-play solution is ideal for upgrading systems from analog to IP, leveraging existing coaxial infrastructure and eliminating the need for costly and labor-intensive new network cabling installations. The system enables data and power transmission over coax up to 457 meters, significantly exceeding the typical 100-meter limit of Ethernet (CAT5e). A total reach of up to 657 meters is achievable, considering the allowance for up to 100 meters of structured cabling between the receiver and network switch, as well as between the transceiver and camera.
