Description
The eBridge1PCRX is a specialized Ethernet Receiver designed to convert CAT5 to Coax cable for efficient IP data and power delivery in a Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant format. It efficiently transmits power over coaxial cable to connected eBridge transceivers under PoE standards while ensuring that non-compliant devices are not powered, thus preventing damage to non-PoE cameras. This plug-and-play solution is instrumental in upgrading systems from analog to IP cameras or devices, leveraging existing legacy coaxial infrastructure to eliminate the expense and labor of installing new network cabling. Furthermore, it extends data transmission and PoE power over coaxial cable up to 1500 feet, surpassing the 100-meter (328-foot) limitation of traditional Ethernet cabling. The total distance from head-end to PoE-enabled cameras or devices can reach up to 610 meters (2000 feet), accounting for up to 100 meters (328 feet) of structured cable used at each end.
