Description
The eBridge1ST Ethernet over Coax (EoC) transceiver efficiently transmits data at 25Mbps over coaxial cable to a compatible eBridge receiver while delivering PoE+ compliant power to IP-enabled devices or cameras. The eBridge receiver is available in multiple configurations, including options with built-in or external midspan compatibility, such as the versatile Netway series, to enhance network infrastructure. This receiver transmits PoE+ power through the coaxial cable to the eBridge1ST transceiver, which subsequently delivers this power to an IP camera or device. These plug-and-play systems offer cost-effective solutions for integrating IP devices, supporting installation beyond 500 meters. They provide a straightforward method for upgrading legacy analog systems with advanced IP technology using existing coaxial cabling. Ideal applications include retrofitting digital IP cameras within analog CCTV setups, supporting IP megapixel and non-megapixel cameras, extending network link distances in industrial environments up to 610 meters, and upgrading coaxial networks to digital systems in sectors like retail, casinos, airports, schools, and hospitals.
