The eBridge800PCRM and eBridge100TM are Ethernet over Coax adapters and media converters designed to deliver both data and power over coaxial cable in a PoE+ compliant format. This paired set enables high-speed 100Base-T Full Duplex Ethernet communication to be transmitted via coaxial cable. The eBridge800PCRM, an eight-port receiver, can be powered by any UL-Listed PoE midspan or endspan device, such as the NetWay8M or NetWay16M, and transmits its power through the coax to the eBridge100TM. This allows the eBridge800PCRM to be managed remotely, enabling functionalities like remote camera reset. Subsequently, the eBridge100TM delivers PoE+ compliant power to a PoE-enabled camera or IP device. These plug-and-play units are ideal for upgrading systems from analog to IP by utilizing existing coaxial infrastructure, thus eliminating the costs and labor of installing new network cables. Moreover, they support data and power transmission over coaxial cable up to 300 meters, compared to the 100-meter limit of Ethernet cabling. Considering up to 100 meters of structured cabling at each end, the total maximum range from head end to a PoE camera/device is 500 meters. Applications include retrofitting digital IP cameras into existing analog CCTV setups, supporting Megapixel, HD720, HD1080, and VGA (SD) cameras, extending network link distances in industrial environments, and upgrading CCTV coaxial infrastructure to a digital network in sectors such as retail, hospitality, arenas, casinos, airports, schools, hospitals, and transportation.
