The FC485 delivers rapid RS485 to fiber optic conversion for [2 strand 62.5 micron multimode – up to 1 mile (~1600m)] applications, supporting any baud rate from 300 to 115.2K. Its auto-baud functionality eliminates the need for resistors or jumpers for configuration. Additionally, it includes jumpers for 120 ohm bias and line termination.
