FMCI Series Ethernet media converters provide seamless transmission and reception of 10/100 Mbps data through both multimode and single-mode optical fibers. These converters feature an electrical interface that automatically negotiates to either a 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps Ethernet speed, ensuring optimal performance without manual adjustments. Meanwhile, the optical interface is designed to operate consistently at a 100 Mbps Ethernet rate.
FMCI Series media converters are engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, maintaining reliable performance even in extreme temperatures. They feature LED indicators for quick assessment of equipment operational status and for monitoring vital operating parameters.
The standard-sized units in the FMCI Series offer versatile mounting options, including surface and rack mounting, while the compact units are suitable for surface mounting only. Both types can be adapted for DIN-rail mounting with an optional adapter plate.
