Description

The Ethernet media converter series is designed for transforming Ethernet electrical signals into optical media, serving as essential components in networking infrastructure. These auto-negotiating converters support 10/100 Mbps Ethernet inputs and produce a 100 Mbps optical output. They employ both multimode and single-mode optical fibers and accommodate one and two-fiber SC and ST optical connectors, enhancing connectivity versatility. Operational status is indicated through built-in LEDs. All converters are environmentally robust and feature a true Plug and Play setup, requiring no electrical or optical adjustments.

These standard-sized units can be mounted on a wall or in a rack for flexible installation options. The non-PoE versions utilize an included DC power supply, while the PoE variants adhere to IEEE 802.3at Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) standards, delivering a maximum power output of 30 watts, ideal for applications powering remote equipment with significant energy requirements.

Additionally, the TMC-F Series standard-sized units are compatible for direct insertion into standardized racks or can function independently as standalone modules. Meanwhile, TMC-F-M small-sized units are designed exclusively for standalone operation.
