The EX78000 Series by EtherWAN is an industrial-grade 12-port network switch that supports IEEE802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE), delivering high-performance switching capabilities with robust management features essential for mission-critical applications in demanding environments. This switch is equipped with 8 10/100BASE-TX PoE ports, complemented by two Gigabit SX/LX/BX/WDM fiber ports with SFP options. Each PoE port can supply up to 30W, with a total power budget of 180W, ensuring flexibility for connecting various PoE powered devices like outdoor PTZ dome cameras, wireless access points, and roadside communication systems with differing bandwidth and power requirements.
Designed for easy installation, the EX78000 Series is DIN rail mountable and integrates EtherWAN’s Alpha-Ring self-healing ring technology, providing fault recovery in under 15 milliseconds. Network management is enhanced with features such as port security, IGMP snooping, port-based VLAN, GARP protocols, and link aggregation, all accessible via web browsers, telnet, SSH, SNMP, RMON, TFTP, and RS-232 console interfaces. Built to withstand harsh industrial conditions, the switch operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 75°C and is equipped to handle high levels of ESD, shock, and vibration.
