Engineered for seamless installation without user setup and featuring automatic configuration, CAMSWITCH Plus network switches are advanced 10/100 PoE switches adhering to 802.3af/at standards, specifically tailored for IP video deployment challenges. These switches can be powered through PoE, effectively doubling the connectivity range to devices and facilitating the easy addition of network connections to pre-existing setups. CAMSWITCH Plus can supply up to the full 25.5 watts needed for IEEE 802.3at PoE Plus devices, such as outdoor or PTZ cameras. By integrating Veracity’s OUTSOURCE Plus injector, up to 25 watts of power budget at 200 meters is achievable.
When utilizing a 57V power supply, CAMSWITCH Plus enhances PoE capabilities for Veracity OUTREACH Max, HIGHWIRE PowerStar, and LONGSPAN products, ensuring maximum range extension. A variety of power supply options are available to accommodate the total power requirements and placement considerations within the network installation. CAMSWITCH 4 Plus includes 4 PoE ports compliant with 802.3at, alongside a 5th port for downlink, and is compatible with Veracity’s rack-mount system, catering to diverse networking needs.
