The AXIS 90 W Midspan AC/DC is an ideal power solution for situations where direct mains power is unavailable. This PoE (Power over Ethernet) device provides a power input range of 24 V AC or 20-26.4 V DC and can deliver up to 90 W in compliance with IEEE 802.3bt standards, ensuring compatibility with a range of PoE network devices. This plug-and-play midspan is fully compatible with all Axis PoE devices requiring up to 90 W.
The 24 V AC input is particularly useful for challenging environments where running new cabling or installing new infrastructure isn’t feasible, making it perfect for retrofitting surveillance equipment like box, dome, or PTZ cameras.
For situations where battery backup is crucial or in setups utilizing solar power, the 20-26.4 V DC option is ideal. It is also suitable for network devices integrated into other equipment, such as ATMs, where direct power supply from the equipment is needed.
