Description
The American Fibertek 81-280 Series efficiently multiplexes 8 channels of dry non-latching contact closure over a single multimode fiber. It offers both normally open and normally closed outputs for versatile applications. The transmitter and receiver units are equipped with 8 LEDs to indicate the status of each channel.
Under normal operating conditions, non-latching relay outputs mirror the state of the contact inputs. In the event of DC power or optical power (connection) loss, the relay outputs revert to their default normally open or closed positions.
These systems are designed for hassle-free installation, requiring no field adjustments, and they do not necessitate ongoing maintenance.
