The DSA E2800 features a 2U controller unit housing twelve 3.5″ NL-SAS (Nearline SAS) enterprise-class HDDs, optimized for Serial Attached SCSI (SAS). It is available in both single and dual controller configurations, catering to high availability demands.

The DSA E2800 supports up to seven 12-bay expansion units per single or dual controller base, accommodating various storage expansions.
This hardware RAID/DDP-protected disk array supports RAID-5 in capacity-centric setups and RAID-6/DDP for environments prioritizing availability.

The DSA E2800 ensures data protection and accessibility with features like redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fans. It guards against dual-disk failures and single bit errors during rebuilds using high-performance RAID-6 or DDP configurations.
