Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Category 6 LAN cable, designed for integration in horizontal cabling systems as specified by ANSI/TIA-568-C and ISO/IEC 11801 Edition 2.2 (2011) Class E standard. Engineered to meet the electrical performance criteria of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 Ed 2.2 (2011) for Category 6, this cable features #23 AWG solid bare copper conductors, insulated and formed into four precisely twisted pairs. Enclosed with a ripcord beneath an overall jacket, the cable is marked with descending footage indicators from 1000 to 0 on each 1000 ft reel or box. It holds a riser rating, deemed suitable for vertical installations and general communication within shafts, conforming to Article 800 of the National Electrical Code (NEC). ETL (USA) and cETL (Canada) listings confirm compliance by passing the UL 1666 riser flammability test. Additionally, it meets the requirements of the CAS FT4 vertical flame test for cable trays, as stated in clause 4.11.4 of CSA C22.2 No. 0.3.
