GigaMax Category 5e Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cords are engineered for integration within Cat 5e UTP structured cabling systems. These are ideal for high-bandwidth applications, including Gigabit Ethernet and 622 Mbps Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM). The patch cords offer Cat 5e performance, facilitating the cross-connectivity of Cat 5e equipment and backbone cables to advanced Cat 5e horizontal cable networks. Constructed with 24-gauge stranded UTP, each cord comes with an 8-position modular plug and a colored strain-relief boot on both ends. Available in lengths of 3, 5, 7, and 10 feet, these cords comply with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D performance and assembly specifications. The plug features industry-standard ANSI/TIA-1096-A compliant 50 micro inches of gold plating.
