The CAT6a shielded modular jack, featuring a toolless design, offers a straightforward termination process that is ideal for high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks. To terminate, simply insert the conductors into the lacing cap, place the cap into the connector housing, and close the jack cover, which simultaneously terminates all 8-conductors in one easy step. This method ensures consistent and reliable terminations. The K6AS jack complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 CAT6a and ISO/IEC 11801-2002 AMENDMENT 2 Class EA specifications for component performance, and it is compatible with standard faceplates and shielded multimedia panels. Additionally, the K6AS is available as part of 24/48-port patch panel kits, offered in both flat and angled configurations.
