CAT6/Class E UTP patch cords should be constructed from 24AWG unshielded twisted pair stranded copper cable and feature enhanced performance modular plugs at both ends. These networking cables should be available in a variety of colors to allow for design flexibility and should include a clear strain relief boot on each plug. The patch cords must be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring configurations.
