Category 6A/Class E A shielded patch cords must be fabricated using 26 AWG shielded twisted pair stranded copper cable featuring enhanced performance shielded modular plugs at both ends. To provide design flexibility, these patch cord cables should be available in a variety of colors with each modular plug fitted with a black strain relief boot. These patch cords should be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring configurations.
