Category 6A/Class EA S/FTP patch cords should be manufactured from 26 AWG shielded twisted pair stranded copper cable, featuring an enhanced performance shielded modular plug at each termination. These patch cords will be available in a variety of colored shielded twisted pair cables to offer design flexibility, and each modular plug is equipped with a black strain relief boot. All patch cords must be compatible with both the T568A and T568B wiring configurations.
