Description
The ACT-34DHC 4-Channel Factory Block Coded Key Ring Transmitter with Proximity Tag is engineered to integrate seamlessly with Linear’s access control systems. This robust four-channel device comes with an easy-to-use quick-disconnect key ring and is powered by lithium batteries that offer a five-year lifespan. It features an innovative 10-second time-out mechanism to prevent continuous interference by any single transmitter.
This advanced device includes a 26-bit Wiegand HID Compatible proximity tag, harmonized with the same block code as the transmitter, ensuring seamless compatibility with access control systems like the Model AM-DPR Proximity Reader. Simply presenting the transmitter near the reader initiates an access request.
Utilizing MegaCode technology, the transmitter is factory preprogrammed with one of over 1,000,000 unique codes, drastically reducing any chance of code duplication. The receiver “learns” and recognizes each specific code, which enhances security by preventing unauthorized access through transmitter reprogramming.
Factory-programmed to a sequential series of transmitter ID codes, block coded transmitters can be easily integrated into a Linear access controller. This process involves entering the first and last codes of the block into the system, allowing for either local or remote programming. Additionally, facility codes can be assigned to tailor the access control system to specific security needs.
