These cylinders can be adapted for compatibility with locks from other manufacturers by utilizing alternative cams and cylinder rings. Special variations are available to cater to most application needs. Constructed from brass or bronze bar stock, BEST cylinders come in a variety of finishes. Enhanced security is achieved through a diagonally mounted set screw, which, when tightened, secures the cylinder in its housing. Featuring the BEST interchangeable core, these mortise cylinders can be incorporated into any existing BEST master key system.
