The straight bolt is constructed with eight layers of laminated stainless steel, featuring an alumina-ceramic core in the center layer to resist any hacksaw attempts, including those using high-strength "super" hacksaws.
A full 360° rotation of the key or thumbturn extends or retracts the counterbalanced bolt. The key can only be removed when the bolt is securely locked or unlocked.
The case dimensions are 1" x 6" x 1-1/8", crafted entirely from stainless steel both externally and internally.
The hookbolt is sized at 5/8" x 1-3/8" [15.9 mm x 34.9 mm] with a throw of 13/16" [20.6 mm].
The backset is measured at 1-1/2” [38.1 mm].
